Child Friendly Dentist

Here at Victoria House Dental in the heart of Limerick City, we welcome children of all ages. Ruth prides herself on being a child friendly dentist. In order to help children get used to dental visits, she recommends they come in for a meet and greet at first; which allows them to sit in the dental chair and become acquainted with all aspects of the clinic. We want every child’s dental experience to be enjoyable and positive.

It is our belief, that examining and providing instruction from a young age can help prevent decay and avoid problems in the future; so to help with this we provide oral hygiene instruction and fissure sealants if requires. We can provide a wide range of pediatric services in our clinic from examinations & hygiene visits; to extractions, fillings & crowns. Dr. Scanlon is more than happy to discuss all our your child’s options with you on your visit.

Dr. Scanlon has also continued further studies in pediatric dentistry, which she completed in Dublin Dental University Hospital and has a talent for making kids feel comfortable in her chair.
